New Life House: Housing. Health. Recovery. Hope.

Established in 1975, this organization provides care for adults battling addiction as well as other life challenges like mental health disorders, homelessness and HIV/AIDS. This location is a men’s residential program with comprehensive services to help you sustain recovery. This new transitional housing program will provide a safe, LGBTQ+ affirming environment for young adults (ages 18-24) transitioning from homelessness. Hope House House for Women and Men was started in 2022, by Cementhia Mines. Cementhia Mines is a recovering Alcoholic, who will be celebrating 10 years clean in September 2024. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person’s mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation. MHSA provides community-based shelter, nutrition and recovery programs throughout Greater Boston to individuals and families in need, along with life skills for self-sufficiency to end homelessness, hunger and addiction. In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor.
