Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by how much it felt like I was watching the old Dexter series. In the first series, Dexter would often reminisce about a time in his past, and in this latest series it’s like he’s going back to those scenes, but expanding on them.
This latest series is even more so
Also, as dark and sad as the original series was, it was also full of dark humor. I hope the whole series is as good as the first episode.
The acting is flawless
I almost lost it when I saw a young Bautista, HA! And oh god, don’t get me started on Deb!
And finally, a great portrayal of young Dexter
