This series uses material from the Great Schools of Dune trilogy by Brian Herbert and Kevin J
Two Harkonnen sisters battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and form the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Anderson.

A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Brotherhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident where Valya Harkonnen used the voice comes from one called the Mentats of Dune. All three books tie in the evolution of the Brotherhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk doctors.
You know what?
Okay, honestly, I’ve been putting off watching this because every trailer looked boring as hell. Tonight, out of sheer desperation to see something new, I broke down and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did.
It’s certainly interesting
The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters. The biggest downside so far is the pacing. The first episode really drags until the end, but I’m not going to lie, the ending was good.
Only time will tell
My only concern is that the same problem might arise here as with the power rings. Lots of building work with a lack of delivery. I’ll update this once I can finish the entire series.
