3rd June 2024 marked a joyful and celebratory occasion filled with love, joy, and happiness as five pre-novices were initiated into the Inter Province Novitiate in Trichy. The new novices are:
- Albena Jayaseeli Kulandhai Samy – Trichy
- Alphonsa Rani Dhodray – Amravati
- Ankita Barla – Kolkata
- Godak Yali – Guwahati
- Rikshi Karshiya Arul Pandiyan – Trichy
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Sr. Lourdu Adaikalasamy, the Province Animator, along with councillors and community animators from the campus. Their vibrant presence filled the atmosphere with strong positive vibes, adding to the joy and significance of the day.
The newly initiated novices were deeply immersed in prayer, reflecting their commitment to their spiritual journey. The Sisters and Novices of the Novitiate community conducted a meaningful prayer service at 6:30 PM, centered around the theme “Called to… Know, Connect, Love, Grow.” This theme beautifully encapsulated the essence of their new path and the values they are embracing.
Sr. Lourdu Adaikalasamy entrusted the novices to the care of the Novice Mistress, Sr. Arockia Mary Soosaimanickam, signifying the beginning of their formation under her guidance. The initiation ceremony was followed by a delightful fellowship meal, fostering a sense of community and shared joy.
This day stands as a testament to the novices’ dedication and the supportive environment of the Inter Province Novitiate in Trichy. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and blessings to Albena, Alphonsa, Ankita, Godak, and Rikshi as they embark on this significant chapter in their spiritual journey.
